Just three weeks after the devastating fire that tore through our Redditch-based factory, Redhill is back in business. We’re delighted to report we’re now up and running in our new premises and have already started despatching orders.
It really is thanks to the generosity and support of neighbouring businesses, the understanding of suppliers and customers, and the positive ‘can do’ approach of our team, who have been amazing throughout, that we have achieved the near impossible and commenced manufacturing.
It has been truly humbling to see the kindness, selflessness and hard work of all involved, enabling us to become operational in such a short time frame. We can’t tell you how fantastic it was to see the first products rolling off our new production line. Now it really is a case of onward and upwards.
First steps manufactured in the new premises:
We’re currently operating on standard lead time plus 2 – 3 weeks while we get back up to speed. So, please bear with us if you’re waiting for an order.
We’re currently running two shifts, meaning that manufacturing is active Monday – Thursday 06:00 – 00.00 and Friday 06:00 – 16:45. Office Hours are Monday – Thursday 08:00 – 16:45 and Friday 08:00 – 13:00.
In addition, we’re looking at introducing weekend shifts to help speed up the completion and despatch of orders.
