It’s good news all the way from Redhill. After fire ripped through the factory in early May, we’re up and running in our new premises. All our welding bays are fully operational and we’re manufacturing our product range once again. All of which is fantastic news for our customer and distributor base, who can once again rely on us to meet all their requirements for top quality access, storage and handling equipment, built to the highest British quality and safety standards.
It’s down to the hard work, resilience and ‘can do’ attitude of our team that we’ve been able to recommence manufacture so speedily, achieving the near impossible. To all our team – management, office staff and factory workers – we’d like to say a huge thank you for the superhuman effort you’ve demonstrated.
To our suppliers and strategic partners, we’d also like to express our gratitude. Your support and assistance is massively appreciated – we couldn’t have done it without you. And to our customers, a big thank you for your loyalty and patience.
Our lead times are temporarily a little longer as we work hard to fulfil outstanding orders, and at present they are currently standing at around standard lead time plus four weeks. This is very much a temporary situation as we seek to make up for lost time. We are working hard to reduce this and reintroduce our usual lead times, so please bear with us.
As you can imagine, we’re very busy in our new manufacturing facility, and have introduced double shifts to maximise productivity. We’re also looking to introduce weekend shifts to speed up completion and despatch of orders.
As a result, we’re now looking to strengthen our factory floor team, and have vacancies across the board. So, if you’re an experienced fabricator, welder or metal worker, we’d really like to hear from you. Please get in touch as soon as possible! We are actively recruiting!
The future is definitely looking good. We have big plans to expand and ramp up the manufacturing process, enabling us to strengthen and support our business activities, and fully support our extensive customer and distributor base, and we are excited at what’s to come.
