Our Foreman, Roy Williams, has retired after serving the company for 33 years.
At the beginning his career at Redhill, Roy was a welder. But, his growing industry knowledge and talents for managing a team were recognised, making him the skilled foreman he is today. One who will be greatly missed.
His day to day duties consisted of looking after a team of 14 welders, issuing instruction and training. Roy worked closely with both the Preparation Team Leader and Finishing Team Leader, progressing projects in the welding section from start to finish.
Upon the arrival of his retirement, the company bought Roy some gardening vouchers, a tankard and a photo book displaying his many years with us.
Roy plans on spending his retiring days fishing, gardening, dog walking and taking it easy.
We wish him a very happy and healthy retirement.
