Redhill Manufacturing is literally taking steps to gain Kitemark accreditation.
The company is in the process of sending their manufactured mobile safety steps to the BSI for Kitemark registration, which will enable them to offer a range of mobile steps, accredited to new British Standard BS EN 131-7.
A symbol of excellence, the Kitemark provides customers with the assurance that Redhill’s steps conform to the relevant British Standard. When displayed, the Kitemark offers proof that the product is tested and the manufacturing process assessed at regular intervals to ensure ongoing compliance with British Standards.
Once licensed, Redhill will be able to use the Kitemark symbol, which is recognised across the world, on their range of mobile safety steps and will be one of the first companies to have their steps accredited to this new standard.
As a leading British manufacturer of mobile safety steps, Redhill is committed to producing goods of the highest quality and durability, demonstrated by their slogan ‘Built to Last’. Redhill’s complete range of mobile steps is designed, manufactured and assembled by highly skilled craftsmen, working from the company’s purpose-built premises in Redditch, West Midlands.
Redhill’s production of mobile safety steps draws on a manufacturing capability that spans 35 years, during which time the British mobile steps supplier has developed unrivalled expertise, skills and resources in metal manufacture.
BSI is the British standards company that helps organisations make excellence a habit, by following best practice and meeting recognised quality standards. Certification from BSI shows the world that a company works in the smartest, most efficient ways and continually strives to improve performance.
