Redhill Manufacturing is pleased to support the 2014 Ladbrook Park Charity Am-Am, which will take place on Sunday 7th September 2014, at Ladbrook Park Golf Club in Tanworth-in-Arden. The annual charity event, originally introduced 30 years ago by Redhill’s founder, Eric Barnard, is a popular event and continues to support disabled youngsters.
The event is always a fun-filled, highly enjoyable day and its popularity at the Golf Club is well established, with all participants hoping to win the ‘Eric Barnard Trophy’. While winning is the aim, everyone recognises the day is all about giving, and everyone involved appreciates how their efforts benefit the children and their families.
The Charity Am-Am day continues to go from strength to strength and this year is no exception, with one electric wheelchair and one helium manual chair donated to disabled youngsters, Kieran and Joshua. To date, the event has been responsible for donating 64 wheelchairs, 2 motorised trikes, 2 standing frames, a walker, 8 bumpers for wheelchair football, and one guide dog for the blind.
Managing Director, Ken Colley, comments: “In the words of my father-in-law, Eric Barnard, who is sadly no longer with us: May we once again say a massive ‘well done’ to all our members and their guests, sponsors of teams and prizes, those who have made a donation and all the helpers. Without you, this event could not happen.”

It is a very special day and I would like to thank all sponsors and volunteers for their help and generosity. I would like to wish Kieran and Joshua all the best with their new wheelchairs.”
