We had a great start to the week hosting a bake sale raising vital funds for The Fire Fighters Charity!
The charity was established to help all of those who have worked for the emergency service. The charity offers support, advice, and access to information to those who are recovering from injury or illness.
Sophie Bates, Redhill’s Charity Co-ordinator says:
“As many of our valued customers, suppliers and industry friends will know, we suffered an enormous fire early last year. More than 50 firefighters from regional units arrived within minutes of the alarm being raised and began fighting the fire.
They managed to create a ‘fire wall’ against one of our units, which enabled us to salvage one of our tube benders. If it wasn’t for their quick thinking, hard work, and dedication to helping others, we would have literally been building the business from the ground up. Without that tube bender, life would have been even more difficult.
We are so grateful for their continuous selflessness and bravery, and we can’t thank them enough. Watch this space for more fundraising events this year!”
