This brave team has taken on the challenge of playing 72 holes in one day on Monday 19th June 2023 at Ladbrook Park Golf Club.
That’s nothing less than four long, hard rounds before it gets too dark to see. They’ve taken on this tough challenge to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. Just for a day, they know that they can’t stop, because people continue to be diagnosed with cancer.
Here’s what the team had to say:
Ultimately we want to raise as much as we can for Macmillan. Macmillan does a wonderful job supporting those affected by Cancer and we just want to support them. Cancer is so close to us all, our lives are touched by it constantly, if not directly through family, friends or colleagues – playing golf to raise crucial funds it the very least we can do. We are hoping that between us we can raise a substantial sum that will make a positive impact for something or someone. Hopefully our legs hold up and we make a few birdies too!
