Production continues to be exceptionally busy in our Redditch-based factory. Following the lifting of lockdown restrictions, we hit an amazingly busy patch with unprecedented order levels – and we haven’t stopped since.
The good news is that our order book is full, British manufacturing is on the up and we are very much helping to stimulate the local economy. After such a tough time, it’s brilliant that business is going so well and our products are flying off the shelves. It’s also fantastic that more and more customers are choosing to buy British and reaping the benefits of quality, cost, innovation and quicker delivery than buying from overseas; it bodes well for the future.
Having said that, the global economy is currently going through tough times and we have to contend with some difficult trading conditions. Namely, there are shortages of raw materials, staff summer holidays, ongoing issues with the supply chain and problems with logistics due to a lack of HGV drivers as a direct result of Brexit and the pandemic. There is also a shortage of skilled welders available across the UK adding reduction in productivity.
You can rest assured, we’re doing everything in our power to deal with these issues and our factory is working flat out to meet orders as fast as we can. Our new night shift continues to give us increased manufacturing capability, as a result, we’re now able to accept large volume and bespoke orders.
You’ll appreciate that we are nonetheless affected by current global conditions and have had to adapt accordingly. We’ve had to extend lead times slightly, with 5-day lead times extended to 7-10 days.

It’s great that orders continue to flood in and we remain busier than ever.
